Mado Marks is a short psychological horror visual novel in which a group of students discovers a door at the back of their classroom. Beyond it is another classroom that should not exist. Inside, they record vertical video messages to the people they hope to become.

After leaving the room, the students find themselves in the next morning. School records state that they were absent for an entire day, while their phones indicate that only minutes have passed. When one of the students disappears, corrupted videos and altered records become the remaining evidence that she ever existed.

Through subtle choices and shifting memories, players determine how the remaining students respond to the evidence. The narrative follows themes of memory, identity, proof, friendship, and erasure. Each playthrough lasts around 30 minutes and can lead to one of three endings based on whether the students preserve the proof, reject it, or become part of the erasure.

The game features a confined school setting, grunge-inspired visuals, liminal classroom spaces, and an original ambient soundtrack incorporating fluorescent hum and distorted audio.
