The story follows Sora Halbeth, a tech prodigy and CEO who wakes in a cold interrogation room with a countdown in his head and 24 hours to live. Under the direction of a voice known as Mayday, Sora is forced to undergo five psychological trials that confront him with simulations of his past, revelations about his family, and moral dilemmas without easy answers.

Each trial represents a stage of grief: denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. As Sora faces manipulated memories and questions the origins of his success, player decisions determine how he approaches the truth and which of three endings he reaches.

A full playthrough lasts around one hour. Mayday Trials features grunge-inspired visuals, an atmospheric original soundtrack, and themes involving free will, trauma, and identity.
