Make Moku Proud — A Psychological Horror Visual Novel About Ritual, Guilt, and Obedience
Play as Veko, the Witness, and confront a broken sacred sequence in a short, choice-driven story with three distinct endings.
Overview
Make Moku Proud is a psychological horror visual novel developed and published by VAINSANE. Masked raiders gather to perform a sacred chant by drawing numbered stones, but when the sequence breaks, the group begins to disappear one by one. Players take the role of Veko, a Witness with special powers that can be used when the ritual fails. Across an approximately 30-minute story, dialogue choices shape Veko’s response to the unfolding events and lead to three distinct endings. The game combines themes of guilt, faith, authority, silence, and moral hesitation with a minimalist presentation influenced by gothic and grunge aesthetics. Make Moku Proud was released on March 27, 2026, for Windows, macOS, and Linux via Steam. A demo is also available.
