Miya Might Break is a psychological horror visual novel developed and published by VAINSANE Studios. The story centers on Miya, a former prodigy living in a decaying home with her unstable stepfather, Rasu. Each night, she performs a ritual she believes she needs to survive and remain calm. Her talking plush companion, Mopa, offers guidance, while an unseen bystander notices Miya’s behavior and recurring patterns. Designed as a short, tightly focused experience of approximately 30 minutes, the game has three endings shaped by belief, fear, and delusion. Its domestic horror narrative uses surreal environments, imaginary companionship, ambient hums, and ritualistic audio cues to examine pressure and mental collapse.
