Monari Station Is Available Now on Windows, macOS, and Linux
A short psychological horror visual novel about uncertainty, coercion, and the choices made while a life hangs in the balance.
Overview
Monari Station is a short psychological horror visual novel developed and published by VAINSANE Studios. During rush hour, Rimi becomes trapped between a station platform and a train. Hundreds of people witness the incident, but no one can agree whether she jumped or was pushed. As Detective Kesai, the player questions witnesses, confronts the seemingly cooperative Moto, and decides which details to pursue or ignore. The approximately 30-minute story uses dialogue choices and tone to explore identity erasure, coercion, public image, invisible control, and public indifference. It features five endings, restrained urban-realist visuals, and an industrial-ambient soundtrack. Monari Station was released on March 13, 2026, for Windows, macOS, and Linux. A demo is also available on Steam.
