Mortality... Please is a short psychological horror visual novel developed and published by VAINSANE for Windows, macOS, and Linux. Penelope is terrified of growing older, despite telling others that she is excited about her life. She finds comfort in Kyte, a charming nineteen-year-old who appears in a 1984 yearbook and admits that he is not normal. As a former fiancée named Ursa arrives with photographs and letters, Penelope investigates Kyte’s past, his vanished father, and a locked box that may be connected to his condition. Player choices shape Penelope’s attitudes and decisions, determining Kyte’s fate across three distinct endings. Mortality... Please launched on October 9, 2026, and is available now on Steam.
