Overview

Mother;Above is a short psychological horror visual novel developed and published by VAINSANE. Players follow Vik, a teenage laborer living in an industrial basin town beneath the floodwall that protects the City Above. When the Flood Authority announces a controlled discharge, Vik and four companions plan to steal a maintenance tram and pass through the wall before their town is flooded. Each playthrough lasts around 30 minutes and can lead to one of three endings. Mother;Above is scheduled for release on August 28, 2026, for Windows, macOS, and Linux via Steam.
